Description
STAT1 antibody LS-B591 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to STAT1 from human. It is reactive with human, mouse and rat. Validated for ELISA, ICC, IF, IHC, IP and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.

Immunogen
A peptide corresponding to 38 amino acids near the C-Terminus of human STAT1 alpha. The sequences differ from the murine corresponding sequences by four amino acids. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of STAT1 alpha.
Specificity
At least two isoforms of STAT1 are known to exist; this antibody will only recognize the larger isoform.

Usage
STAT1 alpha antibody can be used for Western blot at 0.5 - 1 ug and for immunoprecipitation at 2 to 4 ug per sample. Antibody can also be used for immunocytochemistry starting at 10 ug/mL and Immunohistochemistry starting at 2.5 ug/mL. Antibody validated: Western Blot in human samples; Immunohistochemistry in human samples; Immunocytochemistry in human samples and Immunofluorescence in human samples. All other applications and species not yet tested. Western Blot: Predicted: 91 kDa Observed: 90 kDa
