Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

SPP1 / Osteopontin antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-DPKSKEEDKHLK from the C-terminus of human SPP1 / Osteopontin (NP_001035147.1; NP_000573.1; NP_001035149.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset (92%); Mouse, Panda, Dog, Pig, Arthrobotrys (83%).
LS-E25903 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
aa288-299
Human SPP1 / Osteopontin.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2411 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2411 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

Packaging

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide

About SPP1 / Osteopontin

P10451 NM_000582 NP_000573.1

SPP1 Antibody, BSPI Antibody, BNSP Antibody, Bone sialoprotein 1 Antibody, ETA-1 Antibody, Nephropontin Antibody, OPN Antibody, Secreted phosphoprotein 1 Antibody, SPP-1 Antibody, SPP1/CALPHA1 fusion Antibody, Urinary stone protein Antibody, Uropontin Antibody, Osteopontin Antibody, Bone sialoprotein I Antibody

Binds tightly to hydroxyapatite. Appears to form an integral part of the mineralized matrix. Probably important to cell-matrix interaction.Acts as a cytokine involved in enhancing production of interferon-gamma and interleukin-12 and reducing production of interleukin-10 and is essential in the pathway that leads to type I immunity.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-Osteopontin antibody IHC of human placenta. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2411 concentration 5 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Staining (0.3 ug/ml) of Human Thymus lysate (RIPA buffer, 30 ug total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by using chemiluminescence.
