Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
SPHK / SPHK1 antibody was raised against the epitope recognized by this antibody maps to a region between residue 334 and 384 of human sphingosine kinase 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_001136073.1 (GeneID 8877)
Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7 to 8, 0.09% sodium azide
SPHK / SPHK1 catalyzes the phosphorylation of sphingosine to form sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a lipid mediator with both intra- and extracellular functions. Intracellularly, S1P regulates proliferation and survival, and extracellularly, it is a ligand for cell surface G protein-coupled receptors. This protein, and its product S1P, play a key role in TNF-alpha signaling and the NF-kappa-B activation pathway important in inflammatory, antiapoptotic, and immune processes.
SPHK1 by Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 mcg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and 293T (T; 50 mcg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti- SPHK1 antibody used for WB at 0.1 mcg/ml (A) and 1 mcg/ml (B) and used for IP at 10 mcg/mg lysate. This image was taken for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested.
