Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

LS-E27024 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
aa419-432
Human SLC7A5.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000. Western blot: Approx 60 kDa band observed in Human Spleen lysates (calculated MW of 55.0 kDa according to NP_003477.4). Recommended concentration: 1-3 ug/ml. Some minor background is detected and is blocked by the immunizing peptide. We call for caution when used for other assays than Western blot.

Packaging

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide
Store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

About SLC7A5 / CD98 Light Chain

Q01650 NM_003486 NP_003477.4

SLC7A5 Antibody, 4F2 LC Antibody, 4F2 light chain Antibody, 4F2LC Antibody, CD98 Antibody, CD98 light chain Antibody, CD98LC Antibody, D16S469E Antibody, Integral membrane protein E16 Antibody, Membrane protein E16 Antibody, MPE16 Antibody, LAT1 Antibody, E16 Antibody, HLAT1 Antibody, TA1 Antibody

Sodium-independent, high-affinity transport of large neutral amino acids such as phenylalanine, tyrosine, leucine, arginine and tryptophan, when associated with SLC3A2/4F2hc. Involved in cellular amino acid uptake. Acts as an amino acid exchanger. Involved in the transport of L-DOPA across the blood-brain barrier, and that of thyroid hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) across the cell membrane in tissues such as placenta.

Western blot

Western blot
SLC7A5 antibody (0.3 ug/ml) staining of Human Spleen lysate (35 ug protein/ml in RIPA buffer) with (B) and without (A) blocking with the immunizing peptide. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
