Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

An 20 AA Peptide sequence near the N-terminus of rat AE-1 (1). The peptide was coupled to KLH.
The 20 AA rat control peptide is 90% conserved in mouse, 75% in human and 70% in bovine AE1. No significant sequence homology is detected with other AE or other proteins.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml using ECL. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry: 2-10 ug/ml.
Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% BSA
Sterile ddH2O or PBS
Store at -20°C lyophilized. Once reconstituted, aliquot and store at -20°C.
SLC4A1 / Band 3 / AE1 is part of the anion exchanger (AE) family and is expressed in the erythrocyte plasma membrane, where it functions as a chloride/bicarbonate exchanger involved in carbon dioxide transport from tissues to lungs. The protein comprises two domains that are structurally and functionally distinct. The N-terminal 40kDa domain is located in the cytoplasm and acts as an attachment site for the red cell skeleton by binding ankyrin.
