Twenty (20) AA peptide mapping within the C-Terminus of rat/mouse VAT (1). This peptide is predicted to be cytoplasmic. The peptide was coupled to KLH.

Specificity
The 20-aa mouse/rat sequence shows 75% homology with the human VAT. No significant sequence homology is seen with other neurotransmitter transporter. Actual species cross-reactivity of antibodies in various species has not been studied.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA. ELISA:1:10000-1:50000 for neat serum and 0.5-1 ug/ml for affinity purified. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml.
