Human NPT1 is 465/467aa (chromosome 6) and mouse and rat 465 aa proteins. A 14 AA synthetic peptide within the cytoplasmic, N-terminus of Human NPT1/NaPi-4 was synthesized, conjugated to KLH.
Peptide is 78% conserved in rat and 71% in mouse Npt1. No significant sequence homology is observed with other Pi-transporters (Type-II-IV) transporters. Antibody cross-reactivity in various species is not established.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 for neat serum and 1-10 ug/ml for affinity pure using ECL. A band of 95-110kD has been detected in brush border membrane.
