SLC11A2 / DMT1 antibody was raised against a 19 aa Peptide sequence located at the predicted cytoplasmic loop # 4 of rat NRAMP2 was synthesized, coupled to KLH.
4th Cytoplasmic Domain
Recognizes rat Natural Resistance Associated Macrophage Protein (Nramp2). 100% conserved in mouse, 94% in human, 73% in zebra fish NRAMP2. This sequence is common in NRAMP2 with or without IRE isoforms. This antibody will not distinguish between these isoforms.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml using ECL technique. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml Use 1 ug/ml control peptide/well.
