A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-Terminus of human SGK1 (28-55 aa MKQRRMGLNDFIQKIANNSYACKHPEVQ), different from the related mouse sequence by three amino acids, and from the related rat sequence by one amino acid.

Specificity
Expressed in most tissues with highest levels in the pancreas, followed by placenta, kidney and lung. Isoform 2 is strongly expressed in brain and pancreas, weaker in heart, placenta, lung, liver and skeletal muscle. .

Lyophilized from 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.05mg sodium azide.
Reconstitution
Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500µg/ml.
Storage
At -20°C for 1 year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for 1 month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for a longer time. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
