Specificity and Use

Recognizes the human CDw108 cell surface antigen, an 80kD GPI linked glycoprotein identical to the JMH blood group antigen. CDw108 is expressed by erythrocytes, some T cell lines and some activated lymphocytes.
Flow Cytometry: 1:10 -1:50. Western Blot: Non-reducing conditions. Immunoprecipitation.

Promotes production of proinflammatory cytokines by monocytes and macrophages. Plays an important role in modulating inflammation and T-cell-mediated immune responses. Promotes axon growth in the embryonic olfactory bulb.
