  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Salmonella antibody was raised against heat inactivated Salmonella.
Recognizes the core antigen of Salmonella enterica, serogroups A, B, C1, C2, D, E1 and E2. The core antigen bears the O antigen and is attached to lipid A. These three components together form the lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a major component of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria. The LPS is an endotoxin and induces a strong immune response from the host. Its mutation or removal results in the death of the bacterial cell and as such is a prime target for antimicrobial drugs. Salmonella enterica, causes typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever and food borne illnesses. Reacts with serogroup A (S. paratyphi A), serogroup B (S. typhimurium), serogroup C1 (S. choleraesuis. ), serogroup C2, (S. newport), serogroup D (S. enteriditis), serogroup E1 (S. anatum) and serogroup E2 (S. selandia). It does not cross-react with Escherichia coli 055: B5, E. coli K12 or Klebsiella pneumoniae.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
