Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
RTN4 / Nogo antibody was raised against synthetic peptide 12aa within the N-terminus and at the splice site of Nogo-A from the putative extracellular domain of rat Nogo-B (KLH coupled).
Recognizes Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor Protein B. Peptide sequence was selected at the splice site of Nogo-B in a manner that the complete 12aa epitope is only present in Nogo-B. This region in absent in Nogo-C. Species sequence Homology: Mouse: 100%; Human (Nogo-B/Foocen-m/foocen-m2): 83%.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. Nogo-B has a MW of ~37kD. ELISA: 1:10000-1:100000 using 50-100 ng of control peptide/well.
Developmental neurite growth regulatory factor with a role as a negative regulator of axon-axon adhesion and growth, and as a facilitator of neurite branching. Regulates neurite fasciculation, branching and extension in the developing nervous system. Involved in down-regulation of growth, stabilization of wiring and restriction of plasticity in the adult CNS. Regulates the radial migration of cortical neurons via an RTN4R-LINGO1 containing receptor complex (By similarity).
