Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

RRAD antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-HRRSMPVDERDLQ from an internal region of human RRAD (NP_004156.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Galago, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Horse, Rabbit, Porcine, Opossum (100%); Gorilla, Guinea pig, Chicken (92%); Lizard, Newt, Stickleback, Medaka, Pufferfish (85%).
LS-E27851 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
aa36-48
Human RRAD. Reported variants represent identical protein: NP_004156.1, NP_001122322.1
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000. Western blot: Approx 37kD band observed in Mouse Heart lysates and no 37kD in the KO lysates (calculated MW of 33.2kD according to mouse NP_062636.2 and human NP_004156.1). There is some non-specific background, we call for caution when used for other assays than Western blot. In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing Mouse Rrad (HA tagged), a band of approx. 45kD is observed. No bands are observed in transfected HEK293 transiently expressing related Mouse GTPases. Data provided by Prof. D Andres, University of Kentucky College of Medicine, USA. Recommended concentration: 0.5-2 ug/ml.

Packaging

About RRAD

P55042 NM_004165 NP_004156.1

RRAD Antibody, GTP-binding protein RAD Antibody, Ras associated with diabetes Antibody, REM3 Antibody, RAD Antibody

May play an important role in cardiac antiarrhythmia via the strong suppression of voltage-gated L-type Ca2+ currents. Regulates voltage-dependent L-type calcium channel subunit alpha-1C trafficking to the cell membrane By similarity. Inhibits cardiac hypertrophy through the calmodulin-dependent kinase II (CaMKII) pathway. Inhibits phosphorylation and activation of CAMK2D.

Western blot

Western blot
RRAD antibody a): (0.5 ug/ml) staining of HEK293 lysates overexpressing several HA-tagged Mouse GTPases, including Rrad (10 ug protein in RIPA buffer) and compared with an HA-specific antibody. B): (0.5 ug/ml) staining of WT and KO lysates of Mouse Heart (100 ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
