This affinity-purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an C-Terminal region near amino acids 1625-1650 of Human ROBO-1.

A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human, mouse, rat and dog sources based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. Cross reactivity will occur with all isoforms of ROBO-1. Cross reactivity with ROBO-1 homologues from other sources has not been determined.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B81 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B81 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
