  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

RIPK3 / RIP3 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide (QEGPKDPEAWSRPQ) corresponding to amino acids 497-510 (isoform CRA_a, 518 amino acids) and 298-311 (isoform CRA_b, 319 amino acids) of human RIP3 was used as immunogen for this antibody. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla (100%); Gibbon (93%).
A portion of amino acids 480-530 of human RIP3.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B1769 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B1769 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.

PBS, 0.05% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.

About RIPK3 / RIP3

Q9Y572 NM_006871 NP_006862.2

RIPK3 Antibody, Receptor interacting protein 3 Antibody, RIP-like protein kinase 3 Antibody, RIP3 Antibody, RIP-3 Antibody, Receptor-interacting protein 3 Antibody

Essential for necroptosis, a programmed cell death process in response to death-inducing TNF-alpha family members. Upon induction of necrosis, RIPK3 interacts with, and phosphorylates RIPK1 and MLKL to form a necrosis-inducing complex. RIPK3 binds to and enhances the activity of three metabolic enzymes: GLUL, GLUD1, and PYGL. These metabolic enzymes may eventually stimulate the tricarboxylic acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, which could result in enhanced ROS production.

Anti-RIPK3 / RIP3 antibody IHC of human pancreas. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B1769 concentration 10 ug/ml.
