Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Specificity and Use
Rho Kinase / ROCK1 antibody was raised against the epitope maps to a region between residues 1300 and the C-terminus (residue 1354) of human Rho-associated, coiled-coil containing protein kinase 1 using the numbering given in Swiss-Prot entry Q13464 (GeneID 6093).
Specific for human Rho Kinase Beta protein. Species cross-reactivity: Human (in IP and WB) and mouse (in WB). Other species have not been tested.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
Protein kinase which is a key regulator of actin cytoskeleton and cell polarity. Involved in regulation of smooth muscle contraction, actin cytoskeleton organization, stress fiber and focal adhesion formation, neurite retraction, cell adhesion and motility via phosphorylation of DAPK3, GFAP, LIMK1, LIMK2, MYL9/MLC2, PFN1 and PPP1R12A. Phosphorylates FHOD1 and acts synergistically with it to promote SRC-dependent non-apoptotic plasma membrane blebbing.
