Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

RFC3 antibody was raised against recombinant protein corresponding to the p37 subunit of human Replication Factor C expressed in E. coli.
Recognizes the p37 subunit of human and yeast (S. cerevisiae) Replication Factor C (RFC). RFC is a heteropentameric protein consisting of p140, p40, p38, p37, and p36 subunits, RFC participates in targeting DNA polymerase ~ processivity factor (PCNA) on to a primed DNA template during DNA synthesis and repair. RFC has also been associated with DNA repair in conjunction with a PCNA-like heterotrimer of Hus1, Rad1, and Rad9.
Western Blot: A band of 37 kD is detected.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4
Store at -70°C, avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

About RFC3

P40938 NM_002915 NP_002906.1

RFC3 Antibody, Activator 1 38 kDa subunit Antibody, A1 38 kDa subunit Antibody, Activator 1 subunit 3 Antibody, Replication factor C subunit 3 Antibody, RF-C 38 kDa subunit Antibody, RFC, 38 kD subunit Antibody, RFC38 Antibody

The elongation of primed DNA templates by DNA polymerase delta and DNA polymerase epsilon requires the accessory proteins proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and replication factor C (RFC). RFC, also named activator 1, is a protein complex consisting of five distinct subunits of 140, 40, 38, 37, and 36 kDa. This gene encodes the 38 kDa subunit. This subunit is essential for the interaction between the 140 kDa subunit and the core complex that consists of the 36, 37, and 40 kDa subunits.
