  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About RFC2 / RFC40

P35250 NP_002905.2

RFC2 Antibody, A1 40 kDa subunit Antibody, Activator 1 40 kDa subunit Antibody, Activator 1 subunit 2 Antibody, Replication factor C 2 Antibody, Rfc40 Antibody, Replication factor C subunit 2 Antibody, RF-C 40 kDa subunit Antibody

RFC2 / RFC40 is a member of the activator 1 small subunits family. The elongation of primed DNA templates by DNA polymerase delta and epsilon requires the action of the accessory proteins, proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and replication factor C (RFC). Replication factor C, also called activator 1, is a protein complex consisting of five distinct subunits. This gene encodes the 40 kD subunit, which has been shown to be responsible for binding ATP and may help promote cell survival.

Rat lung, taken with 40x objective. Immunohistochemistry with RFC2 Antibody , 1:200 dilution, counter stained with Hematoxylin. Positive cells identified with arrows. Av-Alveoli, Br-Bronchus, Pa-Pulmonary Artery. (Provided by Hirotaka Ata,University of South Alabama, Dept of Biochem and Mol Biol)

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of anti-RFC2 Antibody in K562 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). RFC2(arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
RFC2 Antibody flow cytometry of K562 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
