Specificity and Use
RETNLB / RELM-Beta antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 32-46 of mouse RELM beta protein.
Specifically recognizes mouse RELM ~ (Resistin-Like Molecule Beta), a secreted protein that is expressed exclusively in the gastrointestinal tract, particularly colon, in the mouse and human. Expression of RELM ~ is highest in proliferating epithelial cells and is significantly increased in tumor cells.
Western Blot: A band of approximately 10 kD is detected.
