Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
RBP4 Antibody, PRBP Antibody, Plasma retinol-binding protein Antibody, RBP Antibody, Retinol-binding protein 4 Antibody
RBP4 belongs to the lipocalin family and is the specific carrier for retinol (vitamin A alcohol) in the blood. It delivers retinol from the liver stores to the peripheral tissues. In plasma, the RBP-retinol complex interacts with transthyretin which prevents its loss by filtration through the kidney glomeruli. A deficiency of vitamin A blocks secretion of the binding protein posttranslationally and results in defective delivery and supply to the epidermal cells.
Human Liver: Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE)
Western blot of human Retinol-binding protein 4 antibody at 2 ug/ml + human positive serum. Lane 1: positive serum at 1:10. Lane 2: positive serum at 1:100. Secondary: Goat polyclonal to Rabbit IgG at 1:5000 dilution. Predicted band size:22 kDa. Observed band size: 22 kDa-23 kDa. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
