  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

RAC1 antibody was raised against synthetic phosphopeptide (KLH coupled) corresponding to residues surrounding Ser71 of human Rac1 and cdc42.
Detects endogenous Rac1 or cdc42 only when phosphorylated at Ser71. May also recognize phospho-RhoA (Ser73). Species cross-reactivity: Predicted to cross-react with mouse based on sequence homology.
Western Blot: 1:1000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4?C with gentle shaking, overnight.

10 mM HEPES, pH 7.5, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.1 mg/ml BSA, 50% glycerol. No preservative added.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only.

RAC1 Antibody, MIG5 Antibody, p21-Rac1 Antibody, Ras-like protein TC25 Antibody, TC25 Antibody, TC-25 Antibody, Rac-1 Antibody

Plasma membrane-associated small GTPase which cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states. In its active state, binds to a variety of effector proteins to regulate cellular responses such as secretory processes, phagocytosis of apoptotic cells, epithelial cell polarization and growth-factor induced formation of membrane ruffles.
