Specificity and Use
Rabies virus, canine.
Recognizes glycoprotein of at least 7 strains of the rabies virus:CVS, Flury Lep, Flury HEP, Mokola 1, Mokola 2, Lagos bat, Duvenhage
Suitable for ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Indirect ELISA: >1:100000. Coat antigen onto plate followed by addition of primary antibody with detection by anti-mouse secondary antibody. Immunohistochemistry: Suitable for use on freshly fixed frozen sections tissue sections. Not tested on paraffin sections.
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles. Store undiluted.
