Description
Paxillin antibody LS-C25992 is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to Paxillin (PXN) from human. It is reactive with human, mouse, rat and other species. Validated for ELISA, ICC, IP and WB.

Immunogen
GST fusion protein containing full-length human paxillin.
Specificity
Recognizes human Paxillin at 68kD and a band around 50kD, which is most likely a degradation product. Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse, rat, chicken and bovine. Other species not tested.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunocytochemistry. Western Blot: 0.5-2 ug/ml detects paxillin in RIPA lysates from 3T3 fibroblasts using 20 ug per lane for minigels. Immunoprecipitation: 4 ug per 500 ug of cell lysate. Immunocytochemistry:5-10 ug/ml (gave positive immunostaining for paxillin in REF (rat embryo fibroblast) 52 cells fixed with 3.7% paraformaldehyde for 5 minutes).
