Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Monkey, Bovine, Pig (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein G purified
Specificity and Use
PTPRU antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human PTPRU. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey, Marmoset, Bovine, Pig (100%); Mouse, Dog (88%); Elephant, Rabbit (81%).
KLH conjugated synthetic peptide comprising amino acids 52 - 67 [EQVRIHPGTRAPADLP] of the human protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type U (PTPRU) protein.
PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
PTPRU is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP possesses an extracellular region, a single transmembrane region, and two tandem intracellular catalytic domains, and thus represents a receptor-type PTP.
