  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PTK2B / PYK2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to a portion of human Pyk2 (proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2) phosphorylated at Tyr402. Conjugated to KLH. Molecular Weight: 116kD.
Recognizes human Pyk2 phosphorylated at Tyr402. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse, Rat. Does not cross-react with the non-phosphorylated form of Pyk2/CAKb or with unrelated phosphorylation sites.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 0.5 ug/ml (ECL). Recommended blocking buffer: Casein/Tween 20 based blocking and blot incubation buffer. ELISA: 0.05 ug/ml.

PBS, 0.09% sodium azide, G, sucrose, 40% glycerol.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Non-receptor protein-tyrosine kinase that regulates reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, cell polarization, cell migration, adhesion, spreading and bone remodeling. Plays a role in the regulation of the humoral immune response, and is required for normal levels of marginal B-cells in the spleen and normal migration of splenic B-cells. Required for normal macrophage polarization and migration towards sites of inflammation.
