Specificity and Use
Human pro-collagen I.
Labels carboxy-terminal pro-peptide of collagen type I. Does not stain mature collagen fibers in tissue, but rather is localized intracellularly in cells producing pro-collagen I. Species cross-reactivity: Human, guinea pig, bovine. Does not cross-react with mouse, rat, hamster.
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 (10-25 ug/ml); Paraffin embedded tissue sections fixed in acid EtOH, not traditional formalin. (1% HOC in 95% EtOH) fixation.
Ascites. No preservative added.
