Specificity
The antibody can specifically bind to its immunogen, and did not show any cross reactivity with unrelated antigens in ELISA. It also could specifically recognize recombinant protein, cellular protein as assayed by Western Blot. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat procalcitonin has not yet been tested.

Usage
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. This antibody is shipped with antibody diluent; we recommend the addition of 100 ul of diluent to the 50 ug of lyophilized antibody
