Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
IHC - Paraffin, ICC, Immunofluorescence, Western blot

Specificity and Use
PRKDC / DNA-PKcs antibody was raised against the epitope maps to a region between residues 2050 and 2100 of human DNA-Dependent Protein Kinase, catalytic subunit using the numbering given in entry NP_008835.5 (GeneID 5591).
Species cross-reactivity: Human. Reactivity with infra primates is unlikely owing to divergence of sequence between these orthologs and human DNA-PKcs at the site to which the epitope maps.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Serine/threonine-protein kinase that acts as a molecular sensor for DNA damage. Involved in DNA non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) required for double-strand break (DSB) repair and V(D)J recombination. Must be bound to DNA to express its catalytic properties. Promotes processing of hairpin DNA structures in V(D)J recombination by activation of the hairpin endonuclease artemis (DCLRE1C). The assembly of the DNA-PK complex at DNA ends is also required for the NHEJ ligation step.
