Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PRKD1 / PKD Mu antibody was raised against synthetic phosphopeptide derived from a region of human PKCmu/PKD that contains serine 742. The sequence is conserved in mouse.
pSer742
Reactivity: Human and mouse PKCmu /PKD. Does not cross react with PKC [pT497], I&II [pT500], [pT514], [pT507], [pT566], [pT403], [pT512], [pT538], or [pT410] as determined by peptide competition experiments.
Suitable for use in Western blotting applications. For Western blotting applications, we recommend using the antibody at a 1:1000 dilution. Positive control: K562 cells treated with PMA, or NIH3T3 cells treated with PDGF.

Packaging

PBS (without Mg2+, Ca2+), 1 mg/ml BSA (IgG, protease free), pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

Serine/threonine-protein kinase that converts transient diacylglycerol (DAG) signals into prolonged physiological effects downstream of PKC, and is involved in the regulation of MAPK8/JNK1 and Ras signaling, Golgi membrane integrity and trafficking, cell survival through NF-kappa-B activation, cell migration, cell differentiation by mediating HDAC7 nuclear export, cell proliferation via MAPK1/3 (ERK1/2) signaling, and plays a role in cardiac hypertrophy, VEGFA-induced angiogenesis,...
