|PRDM9 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-QEQHVDSQNKNDK from an internal region of mouse PRDM9 (NP_659058.2). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Mouse (100%); Rat (85%).|
|Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 70kD band in Mouse fetal Brain lysates and in lysates of cell line NIH3T3 after 0.1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 97.8kD according to NP_659058.2. The 70kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.|

PRDM9 Antibody, MSBP3 Antibody, PR domain-containing protein 9 Antibody, MEISETZ Antibody, PFM6 Antibody, PR domain containing 9 Antibody, ZNF899 Antibody, PRMD9 AntibodyHistone methyltransferase that specifically trimethylates 'Lys-4' of histone H3 during meiotic prophase and is essential for proper meiotic progression. Does not have the ability to mono- and dimethylate 'Lys-4' of histone H3. H3 'Lys-4' methylation represents a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation. Plays a central role in the transcriptional activation of genes during early meiotic prophase.
