  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PPP1R13L / iASPP antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding amino acids 780-797 of human iASPP (isoform 1) protein.
Detects human inhibitor of apoptosis stimulating protein of p53 (iASPP), which plays a central role in regulation of apoptosis and transcription via its interaction with NFkB and p53 proteins. At present, the iASPP gene is thought to encode three isoforms; isoform 1 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm, whilst isoforms 2 and 3 are nuclear proteins. iASPP is highly expressed in the heart, placenta and prostate. iASPP has been shown to have oncogenic properties in human breast carcinomas.
Western Blot: LS-C42655 detects a bands of approximately 100 and 50kD corresponding to iASPP isoforms 1 and 2 respectively.

PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.

Regulator that plays a central role in regulation of apoptosis and transcription via its interaction with NF-kappa-B and p53/TP53 proteins. Blocks transcription of HIV-1 virus by inhibiting the action of both NF-kappa-B and SP1. Also inhibits p53/TP53 function, possibly by preventing the association between p53/TP53 and ASPP1 or ASPP2, and therefore suppressing the subsequent activation of apoptosis.
