Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PPP1CB antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 315-326 (VTPPRTANPPKK) of human PP1 delta. The immunizing sequence is identical in rat and mouse. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Bat, Bovine, Dog, Horse, Rabbit, Pig, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Platypus, Lizard, Xenopus (100%); Catfish, Zebrafish (92%); Salmon, Stickleback, Pufferfish (83%).
aa315-326
Recognizes PP1 delta, Mr 36kD. Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse, rat and bovine. Species sequence homology: Rat and mouse-100%.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 detects PP1 delta in RIPA lysates from A431+/-, 3T3, Hela NE and Jurkat cells. A431+ EGF cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-PP1 delta (1:500). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunoprecipitation: 1 ug is predicted to immunoprecipitate PP1 delta.

Packaging

25 mM Tris HCl, pH 7.5, 0.15 M sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide, 30% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only.

PPP1CB Antibody, PP-1B Antibody, pp1 delta Antibody, PPP1CD Antibody, Protein phosphatase 1-beta Antibody, Protein phosphatase 1-delta Antibody, PP1beta Antibody, PP1 beta Antibody

Protein phosphatase that associates with over 200 regulatory proteins to form highly specific holoenzymes which dephosphorylate hundreds of biological targets. Protein phosphatase (PP1) is essential for cell division, it participates in the regulation of glycogen metabolism, muscle contractility and protein synthesis. Involved in regulation of ionic conductances and long-term synaptic plasticity.
