Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About PPOX

P50336 NM_000309 NP_000300.1

PPOX Antibody, PPO Antibody, Protoporphyrinogen oxidase Antibody, V290M Antibody, Variegate porphyria Antibody, VP Antibody

PPOX is the penultimate enzyme of heme biosynthesis, which catalyzes the 6-electron oxidation of protoporphyrinogen IX to form protoporphyrin IX. Mutations in this gene cause variegate porphyria, an autosomal dominant disorder of heme metabolism resulting from a deficiency in protoporphyrinogen oxidase, an enzyme located on the inner mitochondrial membrane. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Immunoperoxidase of monoclonal antibody to PPOX on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human lung, adenosquamous cell carcinoma. [antibody concentration 3 ug/ml].

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of PPOX expression in transfected 293T cell line by PPOX monoclonal antibody (M01), clone 2F10.

Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay

Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay
Detection limit for recombinant GST tagged PPOX is approximately 0.1 ng/ml as a capture antibody.

RNA interference

RNA interference
Western blot of PPOX over-expressed 293 cell line, cotransfected with PPOX Validated Chimera RNAi (Lane 2) or non-transfected control (Lane 1). Blot probed with PPOX monoclonal antibody, clone 2F10. GAPDH ( 36.1 kD ) used as specificity a.
