Recognizes unmethylated PP2A, C subunit, Mr 36kD. Species cross-reactivity: Predicted to cross-react with mouse, rat, bovine, porcine, rabbit and chicken due to sequence homology. | |
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Immunoprecipitation: Reported to immunoprecipitate unmethylated PP2A, C subunit.1. Western Blot Analysis: A 1:1000 dilution detects PP2A, demethylated in RIPA lysates from A431 cells. A431 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-PP2A, demethylated (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. |

PPP2CB Antibody, PP2Abeta Antibody, Protein phosphatase 2A beta Antibody, PP2CB Antibody, PP2A-beta Antibody, pp2a2 Antibody
PP2CB / PPP2CB is the phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit. Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. This gene encodes a beta isoform of the catalytic subunit.
