Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PP2CB / PPP2CB antibody was raised against synthetic peptide (C-RGEPHVTRRTPDYFL) corresponding to aa295-309 of the 36kD catalytic subunit of human Protein Phosphatase 2A (PP2A). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Horse, Rabbit, Pig, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Platypus, Lizard, Xenopus, Catfish, Salmon, Smelt, Stickleback, Pufferfish, Zebrafish, Seq squirt, Drosophila, Mosquito, Ant, Water flea, Slime mold, Nematode, Capsaspora (100%).
aa295-309
Recognizes human PP2A, C subunit. Has been reported not to block phosphatase activity. Species cross-reactivity: bovine, mouse, rat, rabbit, Xenopus and yeast.
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Western Blot: 0.5-2 ug/ml. Detects PP2A (36kD) in human A431 and in murine 3T3 RIPA cell lysates. Immunoprecipitation: 4 ug immunoprecipitated PP2A from 500 ug of A431 RIPA lysate. Immunocytochemistry: 5-10 ug/ml shows positive immunostaining for PP2A, C subunit in A431 fixed for 10 minutes with 4% paraformaldehyde in PBS.

Packaging

About PP2CB / PPP2CB

PPP2CB Antibody, PP2Abeta Antibody, Protein phosphatase 2A beta Antibody, PP2CB Antibody, PP2A-beta Antibody, pp2a2 Antibody

PP2CB / PPP2CB is the phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit. Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. This gene encodes a beta isoform of the catalytic subunit.
