  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PLAT / TPA antibody was raised against tissue-type Plasminogen activator (tPA) prepared from a human melanoma cell line.
Recognizes Tissue Plasminogen Activator (tPA). Monospecific when analyzed by immunoelectrophoresis. Does not cross-react with normal human plasma. Identity was verified using purified tPA.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunoelectrophoresis. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

A buffered stabilizer solution, 50% glycerol.
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at 12 months. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
For research use only.

PLAT / TPA is tissue-type plasminogen activator, a secreted serine protease which converts the proenzyme plasminogen to plasmin, a fibrinolytic enzyme. Tissue-type plasminogen activator is synthesized as a single chain which is cleaved by plasmin to a two chain disulfide linked protein. This enzyme plays a role in cell migration and tissue remodeling.
