  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PLA2G3 antibody was raised against synthetic 12 amino acid peptide from internal region of human PLA2G3. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Bovine, Elephant, Panda, Pig (100%); Mouse, Horse, Rabbit (92%); Bat, Dog, Opossum (83%).
LS-E29666 - Liquid - 50 µg - $145.00
Human PLA2G3. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-A9486 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-A9486 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.

PBS, less than 0.1% sodium azide.
Aliquot and store undiluted at -20°C or below for up to 1 year. Can be stored undiluted at 4°C for up to 1 month. Avoid freeze thaw cycles.
For research use only.

About PLA2G3

Q9NZ20 NM_015715 NP_056530.2

PLA2G3 Antibody, GIII-SPLA2 Antibody, Phospholipase A2, group III Antibody, SPLA2-III Antibody, GIII sPLA2 Antibody, SPLA2III Antibody

Human group III secreted phospholipase A2 belongs to a superfamily of intracellular and secreted enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of glycerophospholipids at the sn-2 position to release fatty acids and lysophospholipids. Group III PLA2 enzymes were originally identified in invertebrates such as bees and scorpions. Human group III sPLA2 has been shown to be a calcium dependent enzyme.
