The cysteine residue at position 381 of the original sequence was substituted with a ser. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Horse, Rabbit, Pig, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Platypus, Xenopus, Stickleback, Pufferfish, Zebrafish (94%).

This immunoaffinity purified detects ~67-83kD proteins, corresponding to the apparent molecular masses of the different isoforms of PKC on SDS-PAGE immunoblots. This antibody is pan-specific and was designed to recognize all four cPKC isoforms (alpha, beta, gamma and delta). Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse, rat, bovine, canine, chicken, guinea pig, monkey, porcine, rabbit and sheep.
