Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PIK3CD / PI3K Delta antibody was raised against synthetic peptide SWKTKVNWLAHNVSKDNRQ with added cysteine, corresponding to amino acids 1026-1044 within the C-terminal region of human PI3-Kinase p110 subunit delta. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan, Monkey, Galago, Marmoset, Mouse, Ferret, Panda, Bovine, Dog, Cat, Horse, Rabbit, Pig, Guinea pig, Turkey, Zebra finch, Chicken, Platypus, Lizard (100%).
aa1026-1044
Recognizes an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of human PI3-kinase p110 subunit delta (Phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit delta), a member of the PI3/PI4-kinase family of lipid kinases, implicated in the regulation of signal transduction during cell growth. PI3-kinase is a heterodimer consisting of a p85 regulatory subunit and a p110 catalytic subunit, which itself is divided into isoforms p110alpha, p110beta, p110delta and p110gamma. Studies have shown that p110delta is predominantly restricted to leucocytes, exhibits a broad phosphoinositide lipid substrate specificity, and binds to Ras-GTP and p85. Is reported as suitable for use in immunocytochemistry.

About PIK3CD / PI3K Delta

PIK3CD Antibody, p110D Antibody, PI3-kinase subunit delta Antibody, PI3K Antibody, Phosphoinositide-3-kinase C Antibody, PI3K-delta Antibody, PI3Kdelta Antibody, p110DELTA Antibody, PI3-kinase p110 subunit delta Antibody, PtdIns-3-kinase subunit delta Antibody

Phosphoinositide-3-kinase (PI3K) that phosphorylates PftdIns(4,5)P2 (Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate) to generate phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate (PIP3). PIP3 plays a key role by recruiting PH domain-containing proteins to the membrane, including AKT1 and PDPK1, activating signaling cascades involved in cell growth, survival, proliferation, motility and morphology. Mediates immune responses. Plays a role in B-cell development, proliferation, migration, and function.
