Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
PGC / Pepsin C antibody was raised against pepsin (Porcine Stomach).
Assay by IEP resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified pepsin (porcine stomach).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Dot Blot, ELISA, and Immunoprecipitation. ELISA: 1:3000-1:11000 using 1 ug in a standard sandwich ELISA using peroxidase conjugated affinity pure goat IgG [H&L] (rabbit) and ABTS as a substrate for 30 min at RT.

PGC / Pepsin C is an aspartic proteinase that belongs to the peptidase family A1. The encoded protein is a digestive enzyme that is produced in the stomach and constitutes a major component of the gastric mucosa. This protein is also secreted into the serum. This protein is synthesized as an inactive zymogen that includes a highly basic prosegment. This enzyme is converted into its active mature form at low pH by sequential cleavage of the prosegment that is carried out by the enzyme itself.
