  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

PFKP Antibody, 6-phosphofructokinase type C Antibody, 6-phosphofructokinase, type c Antibody, PFK-C Antibody, PFKF Antibody, Phosphofructokinase 1 Antibody, Phosphofructokinase, platelet Antibody, Phosphohexokinase Antibody

The PFKP gene encodes the platelet isoform of phosphofructokinase (PFK) (ATP:D-fructose-6-phosphate-1-phosphotransferase, EC PFK catalyzes the irreversible conversion of fructose-6-phosphate to fructose-1,6-bisphosphate and is a key regulatory enzyme in glycolysis. The PFKP gene, which maps to chromosome 10p, is also expressed in fibroblasts.

Anti-PFKP antibody IHC of human kidney, tubules. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B8456 dilution 5 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Fibroblasts were cultured for 2 d in DMEM supplemented with 10% TH-depleted bovine serum. They were then treated with 2 nM T3 in the absence or presence of either LY294002 (LY, 50 M) or PD98059 (PD, 50 M), added 1 h before the addition of T3. Cells were harvested 24 h after T3 treatment. Whole-cell lysates, obtained from two separately treated culture dishes for each treatment, were subjected to WB with anti-PFKP. (Mol. Endocrinol. 2005 Dec 01;19(12):2955-2963)

Western blot

Western blot
PFKP Antibody (D769) western blot of T47D cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The PFKP antibody detected the PFKP protein (arrow).
