  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About PDK3

Q15120 NM_005391 NP_005382.1

PDK3 Antibody, PDHK3 Antibody

The pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) complex is a nuclear-encoded mitochondrial multienzyme complex that catalyzes the overall conversion of pyruvate to acetyl-CoA and CO(2). It provides the primary link between glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, and thus is one of the major enzymes responsible for the regulation of glucose metabolism. The enzymatic activity of PDH is regulated by a phosphorylation/dephosphorylation cycle, and phosphorylation results in inactivation of PDH.

Western blot

Western blot
PDK3 Antibody (M1) western blot of A2058 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The PDK3 antibody detected the PDK3 protein (arrow).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of PDK3 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal PDK3 Antibody. 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the PDK3 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).
