Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Rat Monoclonal [clone APB5] (IgG2a,k) to Mouse PDGFRB / PDGFR Beta
Mouse PDGFRB / PDGFR Beta
Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG2a,k Monoclonal [APB5]
Specificity and Use
PDGFRB / PDGFR Beta antibody was raised against mouse PDGFRB
The APB5 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of NIH-3T3 cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as cell-surface receptor for homodimeric PDGFB and PDGFD and for heterodimers formed by PDGFA and PDGFB, and plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, survival, differentiation, chemotaxis and migration. Plays an essential role in blood vessel development by promoting proliferation, migration and recruitment of pericytes and smooth muscle cells to endothelial cells.
Surface staining of NIH/3T3 cells with 0.5 ug Biotin anti-mouse CD140b (APB5) followed by SA-PE. Appropriate isotype controls were used (open histogram). Total viable cells were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
