  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PDCD1LG2 / CD273 / PD-L2 antibody was raised against human B7-DC transfected L cells.
Detects human CD273, also known as B7-DC and Programmed Death Ligand 2 (PD-L2). CD273 is a 42kD member of the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily, and is a ligand for CD279 (PD-1). CD273 is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, and its expression can be induced on inflammatory macrophages when activated by interleukin 4 or Th2 cells. CD273 functions to inhibit T-cell proliferation by blocking cell cycle progression and cytokine production, and is particularly important in the maintenance of self tolerance.
The applications listed have been tested for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested. Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 ul. Method sheets are available on request.
