Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:500 - 1:3000)
Specificity and Use
PCDHA6 antibody was raised against recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 84 and 387 of PCDHA6 (SwissProt Q9UN73). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Rat (83%); Bovine (82%); Mouse (80%).
Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: Western blot: 1:500-1:3000. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.
0.1 M Tris-glycine, pH 7, 20% Glycerol, 0.01% Thimerosal
Aliquot and freeze at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
PCDHA6 is a member of the protocadherin alpha gene cluster, one of three related gene clusters tandemly linked on chromosome five that demonstrate an unusual genomic organization similar to that of B-cell and T-cell receptor gene clusters. The alpha gene cluster is composed of 15 cadherin superfamily genes related to the mouse CNR genes and consists of 13 highly similar and 2 more distantly related coding sequences.
