Specificity

Recognizes Ser144 phosphorylated PAK1 and Ser141 phosphorylated PAK2. This antibody also recognizes Ser139 phosphorylated PAK3 but does not cross-react with phosphorylated PAK4-6. The p21-activated kinase (PAK) family of serine/threonine kinases is engaged in multiple cellular processes, including cytoskeletal reorganization, MAPK signaling, apoptotic signaling, control of phagocyte NADPH oxidase and growth factor-induced neurite outgrowth. Species cross-reactivity: Human and guinea pig, predicted to react with rat and mouse due to 100% sequence homology.

Usage

Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000. Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4?C with gentle shaking, overnight.
