Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
P2RY2 / P2Y2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide comprising residues 351-366 [DVLGSSEDSRRTESTP] of the human P2Y2 protein. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey, Marmoset (100%); Gibbon (88%).
P2Y Purinoceptor 2.

Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C; Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
P2RY2 / P2Y2 belongs to the family of P2 receptors, which is activated by extracellular nucleotides and subdivided into P2X ligand-gated ion channels and P2Y G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor, found on many cell types, is activated by ATP and UTP and is reported to be overexpressed on some cancer cell types.
P2Y2 staining (red color) in rat dorsal root ganglion. Tissue was fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde and cut into 10 micron sections. P2Y2 antibody was used at a dilution of 1:200 and secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:5000.
Western blot detection of P2Y2 in 20 ug of human brain lysate (lane 2) with P2Y2 polyclonal at 1:1000 dilution followed by AP-conjugated secondary at 1:5000 dilution. MW marker in Lane 1.
