Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Specificity and Use
P2RX6 / P2X6 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from the extracellular domain of human P2X6 (P2RX6, P2X purinoceptor 6, ATP receptor, P2RXL1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein. The antigen shares 90% identity with mouse sequence.
Specific for P2RX6.
IHC: Antigen retrieval is essential for use on paraffin sections.
Lyophilized. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material
500 µl Sterile water
Maintain lyophilized and reconstituted antibodies at -20°C for long term storage and at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
P2RX6 / P2X6 belongs to the family of P2X receptors, which are ATP-gated ion channels and mediate rapid and selective permeability to cations. This gene is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle, and regulated by p53. The encoded protein is associated with VE-cadherin at the adherens junctions of human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A related pseudogene, which is also located on chromosome 22, has been identified.
