  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

P2RX3 / P2X3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of rat P2X3.
Recognizes P2X3 Receptor. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse and primate.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Blocking buffer was removed. After rinsing in PBS 3 times, sections were incubated for 60 minutes at RT with secondary antibody labeled with Cy3. After mounting in a mixture of PBS, glycerol (1:3), 0.1% p-phenylenediamine, sections were examined with a fluorescence microscope. Immunocytochemistry: 1:250-1:500. P2X3 transfected cells were processed for indirect immunofluorescence. Media was removed. Cells were gently washed 3 times with serum-free media. Following fixation procedure, cells were processed for indirect immunofluorescence as described above.

0.05% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About P2RX3 / P2X3

P56373 NM_002559 NP_002550.2

P2RX3 Antibody, ATP receptor Antibody, p2X3 Antibody, p2X3 purinoceptor Antibody, p2X purinoceptor 3 Antibody, Purinergic receptor P2X3 Antibody, Purinoceptor P2X3 Antibody, Purinergic receptor Antibody, p2RX3 Antibody, p2X receptor 3 Antibody, p2X receptor, subunit 3 Antibody

P2RX3 / P2X3 belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP. This receptor functions as a ligand-gated ion channel and may transduce ATP-evoked nociceptor activation. Mouse studies suggest that this receptor is important for peripheral pain responses, and also participates in pathways controlling urinary bladder volume reflexes.
