  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

P2RX3 / P2X3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to aa383-397 (VEKQSTDSGAYSIGH) of rat P2X3. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Mouse, Rat, Hamster (100%); Elephant, Panda, Bovine, Dog, Horse (93%); Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Bat, Rabbit, Opossum (87%).
Recognizes rat P2X3 Receptor. Species cross-reactivity: Human and primate.
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Membranes were rinsed with PBS and incubated with Goat anti-rat IgG labeled with HRP for 1 hour at RT. Blocking buffer was removed. Slides were incubated for 18-24 hours at 4?C with primary antiserum. Slides were rinsed 3 times with PBS. Slides were incubated with secondary antibodies for 1 hour at RT. Slides were again rinsed 3 times with PBS and coverslipped. Staining was examined using Fluorescence Microscopy. Immunocytochemistry: 1:500. P2X3 transfected cells were processed for Indirect Immunofluorescence. Media was removed. Cells were gently washed 3 times with serum-free media. Following fixation procedure, cells were processed for Indirect Immunofluorescence as described for Immunohistochemistry.

PBS, 0.05% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

P2RX3 Antibody, ATP receptor Antibody, p2X3 Antibody, p2X3 purinoceptor Antibody, p2X purinoceptor 3 Antibody, Purinergic receptor P2X3 Antibody, Purinoceptor P2X3 Antibody, Purinergic receptor Antibody, p2RX3 Antibody, p2X receptor 3 Antibody, p2X receptor, subunit 3 Antibody

P2RX3 / P2X3 belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP. This receptor functions as a ligand-gated ion channel and may transduce ATP-evoked nociceptor activation. Mouse studies suggest that this receptor is important for peripheral pain responses, and also participates in pathways controlling urinary bladder volume reflexes.
